My welcome

 I think it is finally time for us to introduce ourselves, get to know each other, have discussions, and most importantly, embark on a journey together into the much-talked-about and sometimes misunderstood world of watches.


My name is George, but I will be using "The Consultant" to communicate through this blog. I am an avid watch collector. Once an engineer, now a logistics specialist, and in the future, I hope to be a direct competitor or collaborator of Teddy Baldassarre and Jasper Lijfering. Soon to be a husband, and possibly a father in the coming years, but the constant in my life, for decades I dare say, has always been watches.


Modern, vintage, classic, and timeless. You'll find a bit of everything in my collection, which I hope will grow even more throughout our journey, just as I imagine your collection will as you read these lines.


We will primarily offer positive (and occasionally a bit more critical) commentary, with a relaxed and humorous tone, sometimes more emotionally, other times more seriously, on new and old releases of these little works of art we love to carry on our wrists and in our pockets.
